Of P.Ramlee the Musical

Our very first theater together and we love the experience. We get so lucky to have the chance to share the same ambience with Sultan Azlan Shah (Perak Sultan). We are seated behind his back. Thank God we are not under dress for the occasion.
Caught up with ‘Mukhsin’ before the theater begins, I don’t actually remember his real name when I saw him, so I called up
“MUKHSIN!” Luckily, he turned and smile. “Shafie, he said” Such a polite and of course charming little boy.
They really put on a huge afford to re-create the P.Ramlee world. “CONGRATS!” We love all the songs there especially the one that ‘Azizah’ sang for ‘Ramlee’ She have a voice of an angel.. rasa macam jatuh cinta .. Hahaha! Great performance by the lead actor and actress, Sean Ghazi and Liza Hanim.
Being able to meet the in person during the autograph session is a wonderful experience. First time meeting Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza in person and being able to shake her hands and tell her that
“I AM YOUR BIGGEST FAN! is truly awesome!

Bila Raya
|
|
Hari Raya paling best bila semua family balik berkumpul. My sisters and cousins are the happiest one enjoying their duit raya especially.
Still for all of us.. raya tak best kalau tak dirayakan dengan Atok.
It’s a must for ME, MESTI MESTI nak jugak makan Ketupat, Ayam Masak Merah and Sambal Kacang yang tangan Atok sendiri yang masak petang hari raya tu even though kat rumah my Mom dah prepare semua tu. She’s the best! My best cook, my best girlfriend, my best Atok in the world.
Kali ni during hari raya, my Aunt organized a open house re-union. It was a blast! Memang best.

I’m still in hari raya mood. There is a lot of pictures hari raya pictures in my hard drive, thinking of compiling it into one album soon.
Next month, if everything going on smooth we’re heading to Singapore for an outdoor shot. This is going to be our first International exposure assignment. Alhamdulillah.
Can’t hardly wait for it. Hopefully everything went on smooth ..

How I spent my last day Ramadhan 07’?

Chronology:
Jam menunjukkan pukul 4.30 pagi, telefon rumah berdering tak berhenti. Mata dah tercelik tapi terlalu penat dan malas untuk bangun menjawab panggilan. Deringan berhenti.
HP pula berbunyi
“Along, bangun prepare apa-apa yang patut untuk awak berbuka puasa dengan ayah”
(Dalam hati, ni suara Mak aku ni, tapi kenapa suruh aku yang prepare benda-benda ni)
“Mak, Angah dengan Adik di hospital. She’s warded at Ward 4. Suspect appendicitis”
Mata yang dari tadi layu aje terbuka besar.
Prepare apa-apa yang patut which is telur goring, kicap and warm rice. Saya sangat penat malam semalam. Sambil sahur, break the news to my Dad which he can’t stop complaining about my serba bujang dish. Hahaha!
After supper, sms her the news dengan confidentnya
“If u nak cari I nanti, I’ll be in the hospital, baby (that’s what we call her) is admitted to the hospital”She said “Ok”
Mumble with my laptop, perform Subuh prayers and tiba-tiba saya tertidur semula. The next happened was her phone call
“U dekat hospital ke?”
I fell asleep.
Cepat-cepat mandi, she waited for me downstairs, fetch my aunt and we went straight to the hospital. Malangnya, bukan visiting hour but my Mom came down explaining all the little detail to about budak kecik tu. Dah lain pulak ceritanya kali ni, budak kecik tu dah on drip. Lepas doctor examine her this morning katanya suspect stone pulak.
I was sad, esok dah hari raya. Nampaknya raya di hospital tahun ni. My aunt suruh usahakan keluar daripada government hospital, bawa straight to specialist. You know government hospital and their services especially time dah nak raya ni?? We dare not take the risk tapi all the doctor suruh tunggu keputusan X-ray dulu.
Since there is nothing that can be done that time, we make a decision to meet again at 12pm. whatever happened mesti juga discharge by that time. I passed my iPod Nano to my Mom to give it to budak kecik tu, mesti dia sangat tak tau apa nak buat.
So at 12 sharp, aku dah tercanguk kat hospital. Dapat tengok muka budak kecik tu, sedih dia, penat, letih semua ada. Snap few of her pictures to make her smile and then few minutes after one nurse approach us with a piece of paper
“Okay. Boleh discharge. X-ray tunjuk semua ok. Takde apa-apa”
I was like, WHHHHAAAAAAT???? How dare you?
Tapi puasa kan? Malas nak gaduh-gaduh. What more I am really tired running here and there throughout morning.
Turun bawah paid the RM15 bills and took the %^&*!!PARACETEMOL and went back home.
We don't mind paying but with this kind of services ..
Lepas kau drip budak kecik tu sampai nangis-nangis which means non-professional service, having us worried sick, wasted our time and energy just to get a bag of PARACETEMOL?
Nak cakap bodoh, MD tu ..
How can the misdiagnosis happened? Dari appendicitis ke stone and now takde apa-apa. Are they really qualified MD’s out there??

Lafa Pixellutions + Fotokahwin Buka Puasa

Yesterday, Lafa Pixellution with Fotokahwin had our very first buka puasa event. Didiz brought along Sa and budak ensem Athir. It was a closed + small family gathering but it means so much. Even though Athir menangis at first but then slowly as time as time passed by he smiled.
Really sorry for maybe a bad place choice. Next time kita scheduled at a better place.
Tak ambik banyak gambar pun sebab Didiz dah tersandar kenyang.

Fasting month..
I’m trying to find something to shoot beside something to eat .. hahaha! Kids is interesting subject to me, their smile melts my heart
After a while ‘pujuk’ the mother akhirnya she brought this little man around the lake. We had fun even when only for about 10 minutes because they have to rush to fetch his sister next.
I brought along my ‘Optimus Prime’ and he can’t let go of it. 10 minutes lari sana sini kejar dia and I got this few interesting shots.

Picture this, you and your loved ones holding hands, sharing vows wearing traditional matched clothing with beautiful smiles on your face. With your families, close friends and relatives to share and your big day bringing big boxes of presents with pretty ribbons on top of it, sharing joy and laughter with you at that time and you enjoying the feast for the first time as a king and queen of the day.
Pretty ambience? I guess that is every couple’s dream, to have their dream wedding but if you can pause and think a while.
When everything ends, they will take out everything I repeat EVERYTHING will be taken out.

EVOLVEMENT IN DIGITAL INDUSTRY
Many still doesn’t realize the evolvement in the Wedding Industry and a Digital World. They are still searching for a Photographer that can be hired based on film roll. They will cost you around RM500. They will go to your wedding, snap according to the agreement and left. What you get is 120 normal 4R Prints with a pocket or sticky album. Sometimes, they will throw in free 8R normal print without frame pictures.
Are you happy with that?
Or you can try this. Hire us based on our package. We will have a short discussion of what kind of concept do you want to portray and usually during this time we will break the ice and know each other better. What we give is an unlimited snap during the full day extensive coverage and a free outdoor event, fully designed leather finished customized storyboard album, personalize photo collage with leather finished frame and more than 500 pieces of picture that you can print at your favorite photo shop.
Better? Will that make you proudly smile when you share your wedding pictures with family and friends? Picture tells a thousand words right? What more when it was presented in its most special way?
Sadly, many still disagree of this fact where paying a price over RM500 to a photographer is already too much to capture everything which that will lasts forever (unless if you’re thinking of another marriage anytime soon – Kidding!)
Then, second thing that you need to consider.
WHICH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER TO HIRE??
1.Make a Research of the Photographer – Their photographing style, Commitment, etc.
2.Learn about their Product – What makes the product differs from the others, What are you going to get from them.
3.Compare their Package & Prices – The coverage hour and the “price tag” mostly
I was browsing my small town (Batu Pahat) market. Sometimes, people don’t realize that they are paying MORE than what they get (unless you have a lot of money to spend) and I don't understand why Most people really rely on Mak Andam even on this matter. Bukan lah tak bagus tapi kadang-kala you can get a better service outside. They have their own expertise so let them work their ground.
I pity them when they showcase their low quality album to me the other day but paying quite a big sum of money. So to the future bridge & groom, learn more about these things.

Tasik Chini Shootout
|
|
We manage to squeeze some time to visit the Lake Chini. It was a really bright morning. Somehow kat kawasan ni cepat betul cerah langitnya. Fendi yang susah payah aturkan temujanji dengan boatman ni. The trip was really exciting! The fresh lotuses are everywhere and we had the chance to witness the life of “orang asli” kids there. It was one of our most enjoyable outings.
